Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: January 17th, 2024
This acceptable use policy (this “Policy”) serves as a directive governing your use of and access to the tools, platform, and services(the “FanRealm Platform”) provided by FanRealm Inc. ("FanRealm") and any content hosted on or through the FanRealm Platform. This Policy constitutes an integral component and is incorporated into the contractual agreement between you and FanRealm established in the Terms of Use. The terms and stipulations articulated herein establish which activities and conduct are permissible and impermissible on the FanRealm Platform.
For the purpose of this Policy, terms that are defined carry the same meanings ascribed to them in our Terms of Use.
Do not upload, post, display, or publish content on the FanRealm Platform that:
1. Depicts, includes, or refers to:
Any individual under the age of 18 years old ; or
Any other individual without written documentation confirming that all individuals shown or referenced in your content are at least 18 years old, and you must certify that you have obtained written consent from each individual to use their name and/or images in the content.
2. Shows, promotions, advertisements, or references relating to:
Firearms, weapons, or any goods subject to prohibitions or restrictions;
Drugs or drug paraphernalia;
Self-harm or suicide;
Bestiality;
Violence, rape, lack of consent, hypnosis, intoxication, sexual assault, torture, sadomasochistic abuse or hardcore bondage, extreme fisting, or genital mutilation;
Necrophilia;
"Revenge porn" (sexually explicit material featuring any individual without prior, express, and fully informed consent); or
Escort services, sex trafficking, or prostitution.
3. Contains unsolicited sexual content or unsolicited language that sexually objectifies another user or any other individual, or contains fake or manipulated sexual content in relation to another user or any other individual.
4. Contains, promotes, advertises, or refers to hate speech (content intended to vilify, humiliate, dehumanize, exclude, attack, threaten, or incite hatred, fear of, or violence against a group or individual based on various protected characteristics).
5. Contains or refers to anyone else's personal data or private or confidential information without that person's express written consent.
6. Either:
In the case of content featuring public nudity, was recorded in or is being broadcast from a jurisdiction where public nudity is illegal; or
In the case of content featuring sexual activities, was recorded in or is being broadcast from a public place where members of the public are reasonably likely to witness the activities being performed.
Gives the impression that it comes from or is approved, licensed, or endorsed by FanRealm or any other person or company who has not expressly authorized such impression or representation in writing.
Causes or is calculated to cause inconvenience, or anxiety to any individual, or is likely to upset, embarrass, or cause serious offense.
Is used or intended to be used to extract money or another benefit from any individual in exchange for removal of the Content.
Involves or promotes third-party commercial activities or sales without prior express written consent from FanRealm and such other parties.
Acceptable Use
1. You are prohibited from using the FanRealm Platform for anything other than personal use. Selling, renting, transferring, or sharing your FanRealm Platform account or any content derived from or through your FanRealm Platform usage is expressly prohibited.
2. You may only use or access the FanRealm Platform in a manner and for a purpose that is in accordance with all applicable laws.
3. You are not permitted to upload, post, display, or publish any content on the FanRealm Platform that is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, threatening, harassing, or that encourages or promotes violence or any illegal activity.
4. You must not use the FanRealm Platform in any manner that may exploit, harm, or attempt to exploit or harm any individual under the age of 18 years old, including without limitation exposing them to inappropriate content.
5. FanRealm is not to be utilized for stalking, bullying, abusing, harassing, threatening, or intimidating any individual.
6. FanRealm shall not be employed to engage in misleading or deceptive conduct, or conduct that is likely to mislead or deceive any other user.
7. Respect the intellectual property rights of creators on the FanRealm Platform, including refraining from recording, reproducing, sharing, communicating to the public, or otherwise distributing their Content or likeness without proper authorization.
8. Abstain from engaging in any activity that violates the rights of FanRealm or any other party, including intellectual property rights, personality rights, unfair competition, privacy, and data protection rights.
9. Impersonation of FanRealm, its employees, another user, or any other person or entity, or falsely stating or suggesting any affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship between you and FanRealm is strictly prohibited.
10. Providing false account registration information or making unauthorized use of anyone else's information or content is expressly prohibited.
11. Posting or causing to be posted any content that is spam, or has the intention or effect of artificially increasing any creator's views or interactions, or is otherwise inauthentic, repetitive, misleading, or of low quality is prohibited.
12. Transmitting, streaming, or otherwise sending pre-recorded audio or video material during a live stream, or attempting to pass off recorded material as a live stream, is not allowed.
13. Utilizing other media or methods (e.g., codewords or signals) to communicate anything that violates this policy is strictly prohibited.
14. Reproducing, printing, distributing, attempting to download, modifying, creating derivative works of, publicly displaying, publicly performing, republishing, downloading, storing, or transmitting any content, except as permitted under the Terms of Service, is not allowed.
15. Knowingly introducing any viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, or other material into content that is or may be malicious or technologically harmful is prohibited.
16. Decompiling, disassembling, reverse engineering, or otherwise attempting to discover or derive the source code of the FanRealm Platform is strictly prohibited.
17. Using the FanRealm Platform in a manner that could adversely affect its systems or security or interfere with any other user's use of the FanRealm Platform, including their ability to engage in real-time activities, is prohibited.
18. Using any automated program, tool, or process (e.g., web crawlers, robots, bots, spiders, and automated scripts) to access the FanRealm Platform or any server, network, or system associated with FanRealm, or to extract, scrape, collect, harvest, or gather content or information from the FanRealm Platform, is strictly prohibited.
19. Using FanRealm's name, logo, or any related or similar names, logos, product and service names, designs, or slogans other than in the limited ways expressly permitted in the Terms of Service or with prior written agreement from FanRealm is prohibited.
Violation of this policy may result in the suspension or termination of your account, and access to your earnings may be revoked, as stipulated in the Terms of Service.
